Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Cultural Talent Scholarship Scheme must fulfill the following conditions:
- Applicant must be a citizen of India
- Talented children studying in recognized schools are eligible to apply
- Candidates age should be between 10 (Ten) to 14 (Fourteen) years
- Children whose date of birth is between 01.07.2012 and 30.06.2016 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for the scholarship for the year 2026-27
- Applicants must possess talent and potential in cultural activities
- Preference will be given to children whose parent’s/guardian’s total monthly income is less than Rs.8000/- per month
- Selection will mainly be based on talent, performance, and potential of the students
- Before filling out the online application form, applicants should carefully verify the child’s date of birth eligibility. Only children born between 01 July 2012 and 30 June 2016 are eligible to apply for the scholarship scheme for the academic year 2026-27.
Scholarship Amount
The value of scholarship is Rs.3600/- (Rupees Three Thousand Six Hundred) per year and actual tuition fee paid for the specialized training is also reimbursed up to Rs.9000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand) per year.

How to Apply Online?
- The applicant must apply only in one art form because only one scholarship can be availed under the scheme.
- Applications submitted in more than one art form will be rejected immediately.
- Applicants applying under the Tribal Culture / Scheduled Tribe (ST) category must attach a self-attested photocopy of their valid ST Certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Applicants applying under the Differently Abled Children category must attach a self-attested photocopy of their Disability Certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Candidates applying under the Traditional Artists Family (TAF) category must submit a signed report explaining at least three generations of family contribution towards any art form.
- Applicants applying in Creative Writing / Literary Arts must attach three specimens of their latest original works such as poems, stories, essays, prose, or plays, duly attested by the Principal/Headmaster.
- Applicants applying for Painting must submit three original paintings.
- Candidates applying under Crafts, Sculpture, etc. must attach three photographs of their original artworks certified by their Guru/Teacher.
- Applicants applying in Performing Arts must submit:
- Training Certificate certified by Guru
- Three postcard-size photographs taken during performance/training
