Educational Qualification:
MBBS qualified Medical officers possessing additional Education qualification to the extent of MD/MS/DNB/Diploma/Diploma in DNB/ Superspeciality (MCH) in the respective specialities
In addition to the above, the candidate :
Must be a registered practitioner within the meaning of the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
Must have worked for at least 12 (twelve) months as a House Surgeon (CRRI).
Applicants should have registered their name in the Tamil Nadu Medical Council
If an Applicant claims that the educational qualification possessed by him/her is equivalent though not the same as those prescribed for the appointment, the onus of proof rests with the candidate.
The Postgraduate degree or diploma holders possessing PG Qualifications, after MBBS, recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) shall be eligible for recruitment in the respective institutions appropriate to their speciality, and recruited as per the suitability of their Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualificationS.
Age Limit:
For SCA/ SC/ ST/ BC / BCM / MBC/ DNC (including Ex-Servicemen belonging to these Candidates – No Max Age LimitS
For Other Applicants – 47 Years
For PWBD Applicants – 47 Years
For Ex-Servicemen Belonging to “Other” Candidates – 48 Years.
Salary: Level-22 Rs.56100 – 205700/-.
